M31N 2022-11b: recurrent nova in the Andromeda nebula - independent discovery

During the regular check of my CCD images of M31 within the framework of our Vend-RNe program on 12.0664UT November 2022 I discovered a 16.6C bright possible nova at the following approximate position:

00 42 47.23 +41 16 19.8  (J2000.0).

Update: it seem this is an independent discovery of PNV J00424719+4116196 which is probably identical with the recurrent nova M31N 1984-07a. My images were made around half day before the XOSS team discovery images.

The possible nova is clearly visible on the subtracted images (new image: 11/12 November, reference image: 10/11 November).

The possible nova on my 4x45s stacked images made on 12th November 2022 01:35 UT with the 0.43-m f/6.8 reflector remotely at Mayhill, New Mexico, US using Luminance filter.

Accelerated rise of the slow extragalactic nova Vend51 (AT 2023oom)

The extragalactic slow nova AT 2023oom (Vend51) reached maximum at 17.312R (0.038) on Wednesday morning (2024. January 17.). Update: Our latest photometry show it around  18.846CV (0.135) on Tuesday night (January 23/24).  Light curve of AT 2023oom (Vend51) based on the photometry of unfiltered CCD images made by Tamás Tordai, CCD images with Luminance filter made by Róbert Fidrich, and CCD images with BVR filters made by Allen W. Shafter.

Vend56 = AT 2024zaq: fényes nóva az M31-ben

 Az iTelescope.net hálózat Utah állambeli 50 centis táv-csövével az Androméda-ködről tegnap délelőtt készített 4x120s képen felfedeztem egy fényes (16,08C) FeII-típusú extragalaktikus nóvát: Vend56 = AT 2024zaq. Közel fél éves kihagyás után két hete kezdtük el újra Tordai Tamással közösen a nóvavadászatot az Androméda-ködben. Tom ezúttal egy 20 centis távcsővel fotózgatott Rákospalotáról, én pedig átnéztem a fotókat, hátha találok rajtuk valami vendégcsillagot. Ezzel párhuzamosan az iTelescope.net hálózat 50 ill. 61 centis táv-csöveivel jómagam is készítettem fotókat, főleg a teleholdas időszakban. Vasárnap (okt. 20-án) valamilyen oknál fogva a tervezett 8 db 120s-es képből csak 1 darab készült el a 50 centis távcsővel (sőt, az M31 északi ill. déli részéről egyetlen kép sem készült). Ezért nem láttan neki rögtön a kép feldolgozásának és átnézésének, mert nem gondoltam, hogy azon látszana egy nóvajelölt. Este viszont mégis átnéztem azt az egy darab képet, és nagy meglepedésemre nem túl

Vend56 = AT 2024zaq : a possible nova in M31

I've just discovered a bright (16.08C) possible nova on my 4x120s images of the Andromeda galaxy made  with 0.51m telescope of Utah Desert Remote Observatory at Great Basin Desert, Beryl Junction, Utah, USA with Luminance filter on 2024 October 24.3366UT. The discovery of Vend56 has been reported as AT 2024zaq and PNV J00424899+4116331 respectively. Co-ordinates of AT 2024zaq: 00 42 48.81 +41 16 30.1 (J2000.0)  The astrometry was provided by Tamás Elek, Nyíregyháza-Oros, Hungary using the original discovery images). Follow-up photometry and spectrum is urgently needed! The original discovery image   Reference image subtracted from the recent image.
