Vend81: independent discovery of a possible nova in M31
I've just found a 18.4CV mag bright possible nova on my images taken with the 0.43m CDK reflector of the Alnitak Remote Observatory on 2026. Jan. 08.82UT. The guest star has significantly brightened during the night is, and it was clearly visible at around 17.8CV mag on my 3x120s. images at UDRO on 2026. Jan. 9.1928UT. It seems this is an independent discovery of AT 2026gs . Subtracted image if Vend81 taken with T11 (a 51cm CDK at UDRO). The discovery image.
