Vend60: possible nova in M31
I've just discovered a 17.5 magnitudes bright possible nova on my 3x120s images of the Andromeda galaxy made with a 0.43 m Dall-Kirkham telescope at Alnitak Remote Observatory, Nerpio Spain, with Luminance filter on 2025. July 3.1087UT.
The nova candidate was already visible at around 18.3 magnitudes on 6x120s co-added images made with the same telescope on July 2.1082UT. Nothing was visible on 6x120s co-added images made on June 29.1264UT.
The discovery of Vend60 has been reported as AT 2025qdc and PNV J00425628+4114512 recpectively.
Co-ordinates of AT 2025qdc: 00:42:56.22 +41:14:51.6 (J2000.0).
The astrometry was provided by Tamás Elek, Nyíregyháza-Oros, Hungary using the original discovery images).
Follow-up photometry, spectroscopy of AT 2025qdc and precize astrometry urgently needed.
The observations were made using the Alnitak Remote Observatories robotic telescope network, ARTA program.
