Prediscovery observation of the possible nova AT 2022zzj
The extragalactic nova candidate AT 2022zzj (= PNV J00412572+4044233) has been discovered by the XOSS team on November 11.5094UT at 18.1C magnitude.
I made prediscovery observation of this possible nova in the Andromeda galaxy around 8 hours earlier. AT 2022zzj (= PNV J00412572+4044233) was 18.33CV at November 11.1884UT on the 15x45s stacked images made within the framework of the Vend-RNe program using the 0.43-m f/6.8 reflector remotely at Mayhill, New Mexico, US with Luminance filter.
On the image made 2022 November 13.1848 UT the nova candidate was significantly brighter, around 17.8CV.
AT 2022zzj on Nov. 13.1848UT clearly visible in the souther region of the Andromeda galaxy (M31). On the upper left corner the bright spot is the dwarf galaxy M32.
